Small Business Enterprise Program to Host Networking Mixer

To celebrate National Small Business Week, the Mayor’s Office for Human Rights’ Small Business Enterprise Program is hosting a networking mixer on May 4, from 2:45 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Central Center at Centennial Park, 1028 E. Sixth St. This event is open to the public; light refreshments will be provided.

Featured speakers will include Mayor G.T. Bynum; Dottie Overal, U.S. Small Business Administration Oklahoma District Director; and Brett Campbell, Senior Vice President of Education and Workforce – Tulsa Regional Chamber of Commerce. Attendees can participate in networking round table discussions on small business financing, contracting, growth and development opportunities.

The schedule is as follows:

Registration: 2:45 p.m. to 3:15 p.m.
Introduction and Welcome with Mayor Bynum: 3:20 p.m. to 3:40 p.m.
Speakers Dottie Overal and Brett Campbell: 3:40 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Round Table Sign-Up: 4 p.m. to 4:15 p.m.
Round Table Discussions: 4:15 p.m. to 6:40 p.m.
Open Networking: 6:40 p.m. to 7:20 p.m.
After Mixer Dinner: 7:30 p.m. at McNellies, 409 E. First St.

The Small Business Enterprise Mixer is designed to connect small businesses with public and private organizations that currently have business development and subcontracting opportunities available.
