A new neighborhood association map is offered on the City of Tulsa website for individuals to pinpoint the neighborhood association associated with their home address.
Created by the City's Working in Neighborhoods Dept. and IT Dept., the new interactive map can be viewed on the City of Tulsa website, http://maps.cityoftulsa.org/neighbors/.
"This map is another tool available for citizens to locate their neighborhood association and potentially get involved in their community," Jhoanna Murray, City of Tulsa WIN Neighborhood Liaison said. "Neighborhood associations are a great way to meet your neighbors and give residents a level of ownership and pride in their neighborhood."
With the interactive map, Tulsa residents can enter their address into the search bar and see their association boundaries and contact persons for their specific neighborhood-or homeowners association.
An enhanced search function is also available for individuals interested in looking for various neighborhood associations, homeowner's associations, block groups, business associations, alert neighbors groups, umbrella associations or council districts.
The City of Tulsa currently has 369 organized groups within the Tulsa city limits.
