City of Tulsa Annual Rain Barrel Special Sale; Order Discounted Rain Barrels Through May 5

Tulsa area residents can now order rain barrels through the City of Tulsa’s Rain Barrel Sale event until May 5.

Through a partnership with Upcycle, residents can order discounted rain barrels, which can be used to harvest rainwater to help prevent stormwater runoff from picking up pollutants as it flows into the streets and storm drains.

Each 55-gallon repurposed rain barrel comes preassembled with a mosquito screen, overflow spigot, and linking capability.

Barrels, which cost $70, can be ordered online.

Orders can be picked up from the City of Tulsa’s Household Pollutant Collection Facility, 4502 S. Galveston Ave., during the following times:

May 2 & 9 | Noon – 5 p.m.
May 3 & 10 | 8 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.; Noon - 4:30 p.m.
