City Hall, Municipal Court and other City facilities will be closed Friday, Dec. 23, and Monday, Dec. 26, for the Christmas holiday, and Monday, Jan. 2, for the New Year’s holiday.

Despite these closures, public safety and mission critical operations will operate as normal. Residents who need assistance with a water or sewer problem may call the following 24-hour emergency numbers: water – (918) 596-9488, and sewer – (918) 586-6999.

The trash collection schedule will remain the same during these holiday weeks. Because Christmas Day and New Year’s Day both fall on Sundays – which are not regular collection days, the citywide trash collection schedule will not be affected. Customers whose trash is collected on Wednesdays and Saturdays will receive service on Christmas Eve, Dec. 24, and New Year’s Eve, Dec. 31.

The City’s mulch site at 2100 N. 145th East Ave. will be closed Dec. 23-26 for Christmas and Jan. 1, 2023, for New Year’s. It will resume its usual schedule on Jan. 2, 2023 – Monday through Saturday, 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m., excluding City holidays.

The Household Pollutant Collection Facility, 4502 S. Galveston Ave., will be closed on Saturday, Dec. 24, but it will be open on Saturday, Dec. 31. During these holiday weeks, the facility also will be open on Wednesdays – Dec. 21 and 28, from 8 to 11:30 a.m. and noon to 4:30 p.m.
