*Block party requests must be received by the Department of Working In Neighborhoods least two weeks prior to the event.

Block party barricades were previously supplied by the City of Tulsa, however due to a change in protocol; barricades are now the responsibility of the neighborhood association or organization sponsoring the block party. A list of barricade companies will be emailed to the contact person upon approval of the block party registration request. Please note that all visitation requests for the Tulsa Police Department (TPD) and Tulsa Fire Department (TFD) are at the discretion of the department head. There is no guarantee that TPD and TFD will be able to attend and block party requests are handled on first-come, first-serve basis. Outside of daily operations and emergencies, both TPD and TFD will make their best efforts to accommodate requests throughout the City.
